A Pomodoro Timer That Lets You Switch, Not Just Stop
The Pomodoro Technique is 25 minutes of focused work and a 5-minute break, repeated, with a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes after 4 rounds. Sunny runs it in one tap with the Pomodoro starter set, and the chime rings on time even with the phone locked.

What Is the Pomodoro Technique?
A way to work in short timed blocks. You pick one task, set a timer for 25 minutes, work until it rings, then rest for 5. Each block is one "pomodoro". The fixed rhythm makes it easier to start and harder to drift.
How Long Should a Pomodoro Be?
25 minutes is the classic length, but it is a starting point, not a rule. If you keep stopping early, try 10 minutes. If you are often still in flow at the chime, try 40 or 50. Pick the length you can finish most of the time.
What If 25 Minutes Is Too Long?
Use Short cycles 10/3: 10 minutes of focus, 3 of rest. Short blocks are easier to start, and starting is often the hard part. Move up to 25 once 10 feels easy.
Can the Break Be Something Useful?
Yes. In Sunny, the other side of the loop can be a second task: deep work and email, writing and reading, or studying and a short game. Switching is the break. See the method.
Does the Timer Ring With the Phone Locked?
Yes. The chime is scheduled with the system ahead of time, so it rings with the screen off. On iPhone a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island lets you pause, resume and switch.
