A Study Timer That Rotates Your Subjects

A study timer splits revision into timed blocks, so you start sooner and drift less. Sunny alternates two subjects, or study and something you enjoy, on 25-minute, 10-minute or until-done blocks. The full timer is free, works offline and needs no account.

How Long Should a Study Session Be?

Most students do well with 25 to 50 minutes of study, then a short change. Start with 25. On a tired day, use 10. Long sessions work better as several short blocks than one long push.

Should I Switch Subjects While Studying?

You can. In Sunny you put two subjects in one set, for example maths and history, and switch at each chime. The change of subject is the rest, so you keep going instead of stopping.

How Do I Plan an Exam Revision Day?

Pick two or three subjects, give each one a block length, and let Sunny rotate them in order. For a past paper, use an until-done block: no countdown, you switch when the paper is finished.

What Can I Study in Short Blocks?

Almost anything with a clear end: reading a chapter, a set of problems, rewriting notes, one section of an essay, a past paper. Give open-ended work an until-done block, and the task you keep avoiding a 10-minute block.

Can I See How Many Hours I Studied?

With Sunny Pro, Insights shows your daily, weekly and monthly totals, time per subject, a 14-day chart and a month calendar with an hours goal you set. See pricing.
