Privacy policy

What the app stores, and where

Your activities, saved sets, session history and settings are stored in a local database on your device only. Sunny has no server; we could not read your data even if we wanted to. Deleting the app deletes this data. With Sunny Pro you can export your history as a CSV file, and that export is created on your device and shared only where you choose to send it.

What we don’t do

• No personal information is collected or requested.
• Your activities, sets and sessions are never uploaded.
• No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs are included.
• No advertising and no ad SDKs.
• No data sharing beyond purchase verification (see Purchases).
• The timer works fully offline.

Sunny’s App Store privacy label lists only Purchases, not linked to you and not used for tracking.

Purchases

Sunny Pro purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play; payment details never touch the app. To confirm a purchase and restore it on your other devices, Sunny uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase history (products, dates, prices) and a random ID generated on your device. It is not linked to your name, email or any account, and it is not used for advertising or tracking. Refer to Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies for how they handle payment data.

Notifications and system permissions

Sunny asks for notification permission so interval-end chimes can ring when the app is in the background. These are local notifications scheduled on your device, not push notifications from a server. On Android, the app may request exemption from battery optimization and use a foreground service so the timer survives aggressive background management; these permissions are used only while a session is running.

This website

This website serves static pages and sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third-party trackers. Your hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations.

Children

Sunny is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy ever changes materially, for example if an optional cloud-sync feature is added one day, the change will be announced in the app and dated here before it takes effect. Questions: [email protected].
